The original serial number 5420805 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 3810. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound  movement, 15 jewels, the frosted gilt movement, caliber 15.94,

Accompanied by a Longines extract from the archives.

The same movement caliber was used in the Czech Air Force watch that came out in the 30s.
This watch is a rarer military model.

 Its stainless steel STAYBRITE case has a strong and solid appearance: entirely made of steel,
 The dial is not made of fragile porcelain, but of more durable metal.

These are real military watches that went through the entire Second World War from the first to the last day.
Longines watchmakers have created truly unique premium watches. Who adequately survived all the various military hardships.

I received this watch into my collection from the hands of a WW2 veteran many years ago.
The watch had a broken from green plastic crystal. The dial was dirty. The minute hand was restored.

The glass was replaced with a new, mineral one.
The dial has been cleaned of dirt.
The minute hand remains restored. (as a memory of a difficult time)

Watch strap leather, handmade.
the same strap was on this watch, but due to age and rough use, the original strap was completely unusable.

The present watch is offered today in a very appealing and original condition. For enthusiasts of military type watches,  this Longines is an extremely rare treasure that is certain to delight and excite.
